Well, this is something new. If I start talking here, it'll just get awkward, so might as well start off with 30 Days of Korean Indie, because then I wouldn't have to talk about myself, which eventually will lead to 'awkward'.

Day 01 - Your favorite song
  Nell - 섬 (Island)

This is also where I got distracted while writing this post. I just leaned back in my chair listened to this song a couple times before I realized I was writing something.

Nell is my favorite band. Despite belonging to an agency, they are very independent in how their music is made. The band includes of members Lee Jaekyung (lead guitarist), Lee Junghoon (bassist), Jung JaeWon (drummer) and Kim Jongwan (vocalist and lyricist).
Part of the reason why Actually, most of the reason why this is my favorite song is because the song is based on a memory of the lyricist. (I went around looking for the interview where Wanja mentioned this song; so sad their stuff isn't subbed T^T) It just gets sadder and sadder towards the end. It just reaches out, grabs you by the shoulders and pushes you into the valley of depression. That's what this song is like.
